All Kinds of Daydreams
Lorca and Dali... Now that must have been hott!

Work is a little crazy today, but I am managing. Daydreaming about Hawaii. A friend of ours who lives there put it in our heads, and now I keep thinking about Hawaii.

I have the word "Pestilence" in my head. I don't think I have ever used it in a poem, and I am pretty sure I have no reason to do so any time soon. But I like the sound of it. Something kind of crinoline and pretty about the sound of that word, even if it means something quite the opposite.

HAWAII. Yes. You need to go to Hawaii!
And if you go to Maui, you should have dinner at Mama's Fish House. I think that's my favorite restaurant of all time, anywhere. You gotta love a place that tells you, on the menu, the name of the farmer who grew the beans for your coffee and the name of the guy who caught your fish.
